Marquee Hire Construction Process

Constructing the Marquee

Green Field Marquees carry out a thorough site inspection for every marquee supplied ensuring that on the day of construction, any potential logistical problems have been identified and anticipated and the marquee is erected with the minimum of interruption to the client.

The first step in the construction of the marquee is the careful layout of the marquee components and securing the baseplates which anchor the structure enabling the marquee to withstand all the elements year round. Green Field Marquees have erected marquees in extreme conditions, notably a marquee for Vestas who required a marquee to provide shelter whilst carrying out maintenance on their wind farm.

The marquee pictured is a 5 metre bay marquee, and the construction process involves assembling the marquee bay by bay allowing the marquee increased or decreased in size according to the client’s requirements. Green Field Marquees also supply 3 metre bay marquees.

The marquee is a clear span, aluminium framed structure which give the benefit of both extra internal space as well external, without the need for guide ropes or centre poles.
